Here in the dry desert, where we just finished an excruciatingly long, hot summer, is a HUGE nursery of these high humidity loving plants. Just the operation alone is mind blowing, but stepping into one of the greenhouses completely filled with these gorgeous, colorful, odd, full of character plants is definitely a sight to see! Participants also used their fresh skills to create concepts and designs for local businesses during the internship piece of the program. This program was part of a larger cohort in coordination with OneFuture Coachella Valley.
